This is Marc Marquez's first greeting when arriving in Lombok
A number of MotoGP racers, including Marc Marquez, and his crew began arriving at Zainul Abdul Madjid International Airport (BIZAM), NTB. The famous racers are planned to conduct a MotoGP pre-season test at the Mandalika circuit, on 11-13 February 2022.
One of the highly anticipated MotoGP riders who has been seen arriving Monday (7/2/2022) afternoon is eight-time world champion Marc Marquez.
"Marquez has arrived in Lombok. Alhamdulillah.. Friday, Saturday and Sunday can see him live in Mandalika!" said the Governor of NTB, Zulkieflimansyah, Tuesday (8/2) in Mataram.
Meanwhile, the world of social media has gone viral and is bustling after the Spaniard got off the plane and greeted the residents of NTB directly.
"Hello Lombok. Hello Indonesia," said the racer who is known by the nickname The Baby Alien , while waving his hand at the camera.
The racer who wears number 93, said he was happy to arrive in Lombok and was ready to try the Mandalika circuit track.
The Mandalika MotoGP pre-season test will be followed by 24 riders from 12 MotoGP teams. Consists of three days of test and practice sessions.
