Nick Foles leads late comeback as Bears rally to beat Seahawks : USA Today : Nick Foles threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham with 1:01 remaining and completed a subsequent two-point conversion to Damiere Byrd as the Chicago Bears eliminated the Seahawks from playoff contention with a 25-24 victory on a snowy Sunday in Seattle.

The Bears (5-10) rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter, pulling to 24-17 on Cairo Santos' 35-yard field goal with 10:46 remaining.

The Seahawks (5-10) had two chances to put the game away, but Jason Myers missed a 39-yard field-goal attempt with 7:23 to go and they punted on fourth-and-21 from Chicago's 40-yard line with 3:03 remaining.

Foles, who started in place of the injured Justin Fields, drove the Bears 80 yards in five plays for the winning score.

He hit Darnell Mooney for a 30-yard gain on first down and a roughing-the-passer penalty on Darrell Taylor moved the ball to Seattle's 35.

Foles then hit running back David Montgomery with passes of 10 and 14 yards to move to the 11 at the two-minute warning.

On the next play, Foles fumbled while being sacked by Seattle's Carlos Dunlap II, but Bears offensive lineman Germain Ifedi recovered.

Immediately thereafter, Foles lofted a pass into the left corner of the end zone toward Graham -- like Ifedi a former Seahawk -- and the 6-foot-7 Graham came down with the ball against two defenders.

Chicago coach Matt Nagy decided to go for two, and Foles fired a strike to Byrd in the back of the end zone among three defenders.

Foles was 24 of 35 for 250 yards. Montgomery gained 106 yards from scrimmage, rushing for 45 yards and adding a team-high 61 yards on seven receptions. He scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter.

Seattle's Rashaad Penny rushed for 135 yards, two shy of his career-high set two weeks ago at Houston, and a touchdown.

Russell Wilson was 16 of 27 for 181 yards and two touchdowns as the Seahawks played in the snow at home for the first time since 2008. Wilson threw a 41-yard scoring strike to DK Metcalf on Seattle's second possession of the game and a 24-yarder to tight end Gerald Everett with 3:32 left in the third quarter that gave the Seahawks a 24-14 lead.

Seattle led 17-7 at the half, but the Bears closed the gap on Khalil Herbert's 20-yard touchdown run with 5:30 to go in the third quarter to stay within striking distance.
